Report service my heart out

Hmmmm... today i dont seem to be able to grab that 12:30 lunch. Why is that you ask my devoted readers? The bane of my lunch hour seems to be Micro$oft's excellent product Reporting Services. With 'excellent', i say with a heavy heart

Now herein lies the problem with such a great product. Say you have a ordinary standard report, excellent features of Reporting Services allows you to export as PDF, Excel, CSV and many other excellent choices (hmmm... today's word seems to be 'excellent' =/)


Any ordinary user/developer/doorknob would expect that if you export your file as an Excel file, it should look similar or the same as a CSV file - or at least the data does. Surprise! Welcome to redmond, please stick your neck out at the reception desk where our staff will promptly suck your blood out!

The CSV and Excel export look exactly the same EXCEPT the first row of data is MISSING!!!. Thank you Microsoft, you have a great product. Let me tell you how great it is....
